I understand how you feel. In 2014 I was 22 years old, a failed college student, working three part-time jobs in Austin, Texas, and getting ready for work at Planet Fitness because I was living out of my car.
With three incomes and no savings, I was struggling to find an apartment – and that was with rent prices of ten years ago.
My life was going absolutely nowhere and I wanted out.
I made up with my dad, moved back in with my parents (I’m fortunate enough to have them) and I hit the internet. I set out to find a job I could do, with my skillset, that wasn’t retail hell.
Ten years later, here I am – I’m earning six figures and finally finished out that degree that I still don’t even use. (My grandma insisted I do it anyways – love you Gramma.)
